Heart and Small Intestine Makko Ho Exercise
This is also known as a butterfly stretch. Sit on the floor with your knees bent and the soles of your feet touching each other. Grab your toes and let your knees fall outwards towards the floor. Breathe out and gently let your torso relax forwards as if you are going to touch your forehead to your toes. Allow your elbows to stretch towards the floor.
This stretch is great for the Heart and Small Intestine meridians which run on either side of the ulna. The extended meridians in the legs are also stretched nicely and it is a good position to help open the hips.
