The first Makko Ho stretches the Lung and Large Intestine meridians which run in your arms and chest.
Start with your legs a little wider than shoulder width. Bend your keen slightly.
Place your hands behind your back and link your thumbs (your hands will be around the level of your sacrum).
Now lean forward from your hips, pointing your head down towards your feet. At the same time, draw your linked hands away from your sacrum which will open your chest and pull your shoulders back a little.
Hold this position for five to eight breaths and then return to the starting position.
